A. Absent without Communication

Full Time Oxford Hillbillies Golf League Members are guaranteed a weekly position in the League. They will be automatically entered into the weekly partner draw. If you will be absent the League Commissioner MUST be made aware of your absence before NOON on the Tuesday prior to the same weeks competition. Your drawn partner is counting on your attendance. Should you be a fair weather golf and the weather forecast for your League Day is unfavourable to you then communicate your absence before NOON on Tuesday the week of rather than just not show up. The Commissioner will be fairly strict on Absence without Communication as the whole Oxford Hillbillies Golf League is built around your attendance or communicated absence. Your drawn partner is counting on your attendance.

S. Stop Competing

No one likes to play with a sore loser or a quitter... especially during the round. Your partner and foursome is counting on you to finish strong so “suck it up”. Even the Pros have a bad day. So What? You’re not in contention for a weekly prize... your points matter more to you and your partner towards League Standings in the bigger picture. Git’r dun.

S. Sulk

You are playing in the Oxford Hillbillies Golf League because your golf game won’t put food on the table and you have some time on your hands. The biggest reward isn’t your impossible all or nothing quest for perfect golf but rather the ton of people you will meet and the new friends you have by the end of the season.
